Our partner carrier implemented a temporary fix, and our engineers have observed Smart Connectivity services restored to normal levels in the region. Semtech will continue to collaborate offline with our partner as they work with Vodafone UK toward a permanent resolution.

Impact: Customers in the Vodafone UK region may have experienced delays or failures in establishing SMS, USSD, Voice, and Data services, as well as network connectivity. Essentials 1 services were unaffected.

Our partner carrier continues to work with Vodafone UK toward a resolution and implemented a temporary workaround. Our engineers are observing improvements in Smart Connectivity services on the Vodafone UK network. Customers using Essentials SIM offerings in this region may have experienced issues with SMS, USSD, Voice, and Data service establishment, as well as network connectivity. We are actively collaborating with our partner carrier toward a permanent resolution.
