This notice is to inform you that Sierra Wireless will perform the first of three (3) maintenance activities to implement a software version upgrade across our geo-redundant Packet Gateway (PGW) platform. The software upgrade will also address a known operational defect, further enhancing security, redundancy, and resiliency of existing DATA SERVICES, and enable the PGW platform to support future services.
The activities will be implemented as follows:
Activity 1 – Frankfurt PGW Upgrade Part 1 October 10, 2022 13:00 UTC Activity 2 – Vitry PGW Upgrade October 18, 2022 13:00 UTC Activity 3 – Frankfurt PGW Upgrade Part 2 October 26, 2022 13:00 UTC
Impact: There is no impact expected during the execution of the scheduled activity as data sessions will be pro-actively migrated to the geo-redundant mate. No customer intervention is required.
Other Information: The Global NOC and Sierra Wireless Engineers will be actively monitoring the network during the maintenance activity. Notification will be sent before and after completion of the maintenance.
