Our Partner Carrier will perform a software upgrade on its SMSC platform. This activity will address vulnerabilities; and increase network reliability and security of services provided to our valued customers.
Impact: AO (application originated) and API messages will be delayed for SMPP Accounts while the binds are moved from the restarted node to the redundant node. During this planned work there will be 4 short disturbances of up to 5 minutes each when the SMPP binds are moved from the restarted node to the redundant node. The maintenance window is scheduled between 2023-04-26 16:00 – 19:00 UTC. See estimated disturbance times listed below. • 16:30 - 16:35 UTC, • 16:35 - 16:40 UTC, • 17:00 - 17:05 UTC, • 17:15 - 17:20 UTC.
Other Information: Sierra Wireless Global NOC will be actively monitoring and prepared to quickly engage our partner if any unexpected service impacts occur during the activity. Notification will be sent before and after completion of the maintenance.
