This notice is to inform you that Semtech/Sierra Wireless will perform an upgrade on our Packet Gateway (PGW) platform in Frankfurt (FKT). This activity is part of a project across the geo-redundant European Packet Gateway (PGW) platform. The software upgrade will also address a known operational defect and enhance the redundancy and resiliency of data services.
Service Impact: A small percentage of data sessions may be affected during the maintenance activity as the clusters are rebooted. Data sessions should re-establish with minimal interruption, depending on device behavior. No customer intervention is required.
Other Information: The Global NOC and Sierra Wireless Engineers will actively monitor the network during the maintenance. Notification will be sent before and after the completion of the maintenance.
