This notification is to inform you that Semtech/Sierra Wireless will perform a planned activity to reboot the primary firewall in Vitry (VTY) to resolve an issue with licensing. This action will improve network reliability and efficiency and aligns with our efforts to provide best in class services to our valued customers.
Impact:
The failover process will cause BGP neighbors to drop briefly, which will interrupt Voice, SMS, USSD, Data services and network connectivity out of the VTY data center. The drop in traffic will be 0-2 minutes, however Semtech Engineers will be engaged on a bridge to validate services and restart any links quickly to minimize any downtime. FKT services will provide redundancy during the maintenance and limit impact to VTY only.

Notification will be sent before and after completion of the maintenance.
